La se\u00f1al que detectan los receptores, al ser activadas las etiquetas, contiene un identificado codificado digitalmente que contiene informaci\u00f3n como nombre del producto, c\u00f3digo de barra, marca, entre otros. Una computadora conectada al esc\u00e1ner del sensor se encarga del resto de la operaci\u00f3n. No obstante, funcionan a distancias m\u00e1s cortas que las etiquetas RF, por lo que los sensores deben estar a una distancia de m\u00e1ximo diez a quince cent\u00edmetros de la etiqueta para que puedan ser identificadas.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Las etiquetas RFID tienen tres componentes:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">La antena. Captura las ondas de radio entrantes y las env\u00eda de nuevo.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El chip. Genera un c\u00f3digo identificador \u00fanico para cada etiqueta.<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El sustrato.
